Notice of Public Hearing - September 8, 2026 Reunion Drive Cell Tower
The Granville County Board of Commissioners at their meeting on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 will hold an evidentiary hearing at 7:00 PM or later at the Granville Expo and Convention Center at 4185 US Highway 15 South, Oxford, N.C. 27565.
The purpose of the evidentiary hearing is to hear public comments on the following major special use permit application:

SU-1-2026 Mr. Baker Donelson on behalf of Southern Towers BTS is requesting a major special use permit to place a 199-foot monopole wireless telecommunication tower with fenced compound on property owned by Jansen Daryl Evans, Felicia Evans and Dale Clinton Evans. Property is located on Reunion Drive north of Oxford
Mr. Baker Donelson on behalf of Southern Towers BTS is requesting a major special use permit to place a 199-foot monopole wireless telecommunication tower with fenced compound on property owned by Jansen Daryl Evans, Felicia Evans and Dale Clinton Evans. The property is located on Reunion Drive and is identified as Tax Map #191400183435. The property is zoned Agricultural Residential 40 (AR-40).
Changes may be made in the advertised proposals which reflect debate, objections, and discussions at the hearing. Any interested citizen is invited to attend.
