Viirtue MCP Adds Google Gemini and xAI Grok, So Businesses Can Talk to Their AI Voice Platform

Viirtue's white label MCP server now connects the phone system, call center, AI Voice Agents, and fax to Gemini and Grok, at no extra cost

Viirtue MCP is part of our foundational strategy that we want to meet our customers where they are. And that means them being able to operate and build agentic workflows from their AI of choice.”
— Dan Rosenrauch, Co-Founder and CEO of Viirtue
SAINT PETERSBURG, FL, UNITED STATES, October 21, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Viirtue, the white label voice and quote-to-cash platform for MSPs and telecom resellers, today announced that Viirtue MCP now works with Google Gemini and xAI Grok. Viirtue partners and their customers can connect Gemini or Grok to their cloud phone system, call center reporting, AI Voice Agents, and fax, alongside Claude, ChatGPT, and Codex, which have been supported since the product launched on October 14. The setup guide at https://mcp.viirtue.com/guide walks through both assistants step by step.

A practice owner who runs the day in Gemini can type @, pick the connector, and ask, "How many calls did we miss over lunch each day this week?" A support lead in Grok can ask who is logged into the support queue right now. The answer comes live from the phone platform, in plain language. Setup takes about five minutes, uses the same connector URL as every other assistant, and installs nothing on the customer's network.

"Viirtue MCP is part of our foundational strategy that we want to be able to meet our customers where they are," said Dan Rosenrauch, co-founder and CEO of Viirtue. "And that means them being able to operate and build agentic workflows from their AI of choice."

What Gemini and Grok users get

Gemini and Grok reach the same Viirtue MCP tools as Claude and ChatGPT, across the four product families on the customer's account: the cloud phone system, call center reporting, AI Voice Agents, and fax.

Gemini: Viirtue MCP is added as a custom app on the web at gemini.google.com, under Connected Apps, and then appears in the Gemini mobile app too. Google currently offers custom apps on personal Google Accounts to people 18 or over in the US, with Gemini in English. Technical teams on a work Gemini Code Assist account or a paid Gemini API key can connect through Gemini CLI instead.

Grok: Viirtue MCP is added as a custom connector at grok.com/connectors. On Grok Business and Enterprise, a team admin adds the connector once, and each person then signs in with their own code.

Recognized at sign-in: the Viirtue sign-in page names Gemini or Grok and shows where the sign-in is going. Users who were invited by email can have a new sign-in code emailed to them straight from the guide.

The same controls in every assistant

Viirtue MCP enforces its controls on the server, so a Gemini or Grok connection gets exactly the access a Claude or ChatGPT connection would.

Seats: an office manager sees the whole company, and a basic user sees only their own extension.

Fail-closed recorded content: every customer starts at Blocked, so recordings, transcripts, voicemail, message text, and fax pages stay out of every assistant until the customer authorizes Metadata, Redacted, or Full.

Confirmed actions: the few tools that change anything, such as logging a queue agent in or out, are marked so the assistant asks before running them. Google also requires manual confirmation for any change made through a Gemini custom app.

Audited to the person: every lookup and refusal is recorded with the named person, the account, the assistant used, and the outcome, and kept for six years in a locked store.

Because Gemini custom apps run on personal Google Accounts, Viirtue advises customers to check with their administrator before using Gemini or Grok with patient or customer information.

"Our partners told us the same thing all through the beta: their customers don't all live in one AI," Rosenrauch added. "The front desk uses one assistant, the owner uses another, and IT uses a third. Now a partner can say yes to all of them, with one connector under their own brand, the same compliance policy, and the same audit trail no matter which assistant asked the question."

Availability

Gemini and Grok support is available now to every Viirtue MCP user, at no additional cost. Viirtue MCP itself is free for Viirtue partners and their customers; transcripts, sentiment, and AI call summaries come from the Call Recording and AI Insights add-ons. Each assistant needs its own sign-in, so existing users adding Gemini or Grok get a new sign-in code. Partner customers use the connector address in their invitation email.

Step-by-step instructions are in the Gemini setup guide and the Grok setup guide. The same guide covers Gemini CLI, Claude, ChatGPT, and Codex.
