SHANGHAI, CHINA, November 2, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- FirstFiber Technologies, a leading manufacturer of optical testing equipment, is proud to announce the Oplicer OS-1. This innovative device combines a high-precision core-alignment fusion splicer and a professional Optical Time-Domain Reflectometer (OTDR) into one lightweight machine.

Now officially available for global shipping, the Oplicer OS-1 is designed to make outdoor fiber network installations much faster and easier. Usually, field engineers must carry two heavy machines. Now, they only need to carry the Oplicer OS-1, which weighs just 2.06 kilograms. This greatly reduces the equipment load for workers.

“The Oplicer OS-1 brings a major improvement to fiber network construction,” said the Product Management Team at FirstFiber Technologies. “Users can complete a splicing and heating process in just 18 seconds. Immediately after, they can test the 1550nm optical loss with one touch on the 5-inch screen. Our goal is simple: Splice it, Test it, and Move to the next job.”

Main Technical Features of the Oplicer OS-1:

1) 6-Motor Core Alignment Splicer: Provides very low signal loss (Single Mode 0.02dB). The standard splicing time is 8 seconds, and the heating time is adjustable (minimum 10 seconds).

2) Professional OTDR Testing: Operates at 1310nm and 1550nm wavelengths with a dynamic range of 24/22dB. It locates cable faults accurately with a very short 2.5-meter event dead zone.

3) Four Functions in One Device: Includes the Splicer, OTDR, Optical Power Meter (OPM), and Visual Fault Locator (VFL). It is perfect for everything from FTTH last-mile cable repairs to long-distance network testing.

4) Designed for Outdoor Use: Starts up in just 3 seconds. It includes a high-capacity 6200mAh battery for a full day of work, and it can operate normally in wind speeds up to 15 meters per second.

The Oplicer OS-1 supports eight different languages on its screen. It has passed strict quality testing and meets CE, FCC, and RoHS international safety standards. Global shipping via DHL Air Express is currently underway.
